Hi, I'm Olivia Tanner Greene, mom, writer, researcher, and fellow traveler on the parenting journey. My story began when my first child started showing signs that something was different.
Later came diagnoses of ADHD, anxiety, and related conditions for both my children, launching me into what has become over a decade of diving deep into neurodivergence, not just academically, but in the trenches of daily life.
When standard parenting approaches kept falling short, I did what any determined parent does. I dove in. I immersed myself in everything from Positive Parenting and cognitive behavioral therapy to neuroscience and trauma-informed care, desperate to find strategies that actually worked for our family.
The tools I found made such a difference that I couldn't keep them to myself. That's why I write: to translate complex research into strategies you can actually use when you're exhausted, triggered, and doing your best.
My books are grounded in real science and real experience. Because I've been the parent googling at 11pm, desperate for something that works. I know what it feels like, and I know it gets better.
When I'm not writing with a cat on my lap, you'll find me traveling with my family, collecting experiences, and looking for the next thing that makes this parenting journey a little more manageable and a lot more fun.
